RIM molding, bendable and unbreakable hard PP equivalent, bending modulus of elasticity 1500 MPa.
It has rigidity comparable to reinforced PP, yet it does not crack easily when twisted and returns to its original shape. Please consider it for low-volume production applications.
We can accommodate large items up to about 300mm in size, including 2M size. The basic thickness is of course 2-3mm. Depending on the product shape, we can also handle thin items of 1-1.5mm if they are made with resin molds. Since the mold costs are lower compared to metal molds, we can also propose this for small lot production applications. Even if the items are thin, they won't break easily even if twisted or bent. *If you are looking for resistance to breakage due to impact, we can introduce our company's method of glass fiber resin permeation injection molding.
